Ranging from every flavour, colour and style, the Italian eno-gastronomia (food and wine culture) is without doubt the most interesting of all, not only for the genuineness of flavours and ingredients, but also for the folklore that dates back thousands of years. If you like good wine and good food, Italians have what you are looking for.
We are fortunate to live in special times in a global market philosophy, bringing to our own back yard great wines to choose from ... pretty much from anywhere around the globe.
Italians however, offer some of the most traditional and sophisticated wines, with blends of international varieties and incredible indigenous grapes, unique only to Italy's regions.
In a nutshell, you can buy Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Chardonnay from anywhere. But, you can only find the inimitable flavour of Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Vernaccia or Nero d'Avola grapes in Italian wines.
If the true culture of wine is to discover new flavour, and awaken your palate to new sensations, look no further. Italian wines offer all you can ask for: uniqueness, tradition, value and an industry that has been in the forefront of technology for thousands of years.
